Most of the kits meet all 50 state legal CARB emissions. Unless otherwise stated. For early model muscle cars and hotrods, you’ll need to check this before hand. Generally, most of the kits come with a 3 year warranty for late model vehicles as well. To shop online scroll to the bottom of the page.
Supercharger Kits Installation
All supercharger kits come with installation instructions. If you have mechanical skills you can do this yourself. Most manufacturers may also provide a list of installers in your area as well. If you get stuck, feel free to leave a comment or ask a question, in the comment box below.
I’ll do my best to help you find someone in your area for installation. Please note: depending on where you live, this may not always be possible. With the installation of any kit that we offer, you can expect to see a 30 to 75%+ increase in horsepower and performance. Depending on boost levels, engine volumetric efficiency. and fuel type used.
Most kits we offer do not void the manufacturers warranty either. More information about this will be added with every kit listed on this website. With the acception of a supercharger kit for race cars, or kits sold for earlier Ford, Chevrolet or Chrysler muscle cars. Be sure to double check with the manufacturer or ask us here.
With most kits, you will be able to choose the basic kit or the tuner kit with additional parts for the fuel system and tuning. Some kits will include a box and label for you to send your PCM or cars computer, to the supercharger manufacturer, to be unlocked for tuning. This is included in the price and will be listed as so.
If you were buy a kit without that option, or you have pieced together a kit, over time as budget etc allows, and you need to have your PCM tuned, there are many places that will tune your vehicle remotely. I can also recommend companies to do this for you. Simply send me an email or leave a comment below this article.

Supercharged Vehicle Upgrades
Although it may not always be necessary, it is a good idea to consider some basic driveline upgrades for your vehicle. For earlier cars a basic performance shift kit for your transmission is an inexpensive upgrade. Generally under $100. This is ideal for towing or heavy operations, as well as street/strip applications.
Later model v8 cars today usually have fairly strong transmissions from the factory. Depending on your vehicle and the horsepower gains you will see, it is recommended to at least consider and research upgrading your cars current transmission and or transmission cooling system, to ensure long lasting transmission life.
Rear end or differential. With modern technology and newer cars, differentials have come along way. They’re a lot stronger than they used to be. This may not always be the case with current vehicle though. For street strip use I would recommend looking into what might need to be done to handle the extra power. Especially if you intend to drag race the vehicle.
When racing slicks are installed for extra traction, this in turn puts even more strain on the rear end. Even if the differential internals are found to be more than adequate, there is also the possibility of twisting or even breaking the diff housing or mounting points, under repeated extreme use. By having extra bracing fitted to the diff housing, this can increase the life of the diff.
Brakes. With more engine power, this can lead to more speed. Or heavier towing loads. Two main factors that puts more stress on the braking system. If it is necessary to upgrade your vehicles brakes, there are a multitude of aftermarket manufacturers and suppliers to choose from.
Whether you’re simply doing a disc brake conversion on your old hotrod or muscle car, or looking for something a little more high end, there’s something to suit almost any budget and application on the market today.
Driveshaft safety loops and stronger u-joints should also be considered. Especially for older cars. Depending on how far you want to go, other chassis modifications should also be considered.
Most modern cars and trucks may not need any upgrades at all. Especially if you’re wanting to buy and install a supercharger kit, that operates within the recommended limitations of your factory engine. Most kits operate on around 5 to 8 psi of boost. On a modern 6.4L Hemi with only 91 octane pump gas for example, you can very well see 730hp. That’s Hellcat horsepower without the extra expense of buying a Hellcat!
After Market Supercharger Kit Conclusion
Installing a supercharger kit not only increases your vehicles horsepower and throttle response, it can also improve economy under normal cruising speeds. If you can keep your foot of the gas around town or when driving in the city, your fuel mileage may also remain the same as it was before installation.
The kits chosen and featured here are all American made and of the highest quality. I’ll be featuring kits for 5.0L Ford Mustangs as well as 6.0L Chevrolet Camaro’s. Looking for something for your old school hotrod or muscle car, I’ve got you covered there too. With cutting edge technology, quality and performance you’ll find everything you need as a after market supercharger bolt on kit.
There’s also full support, warranty, upgrades and servicing availability that will be highlighted with each kit listed here. Video’s will be featured as well as I can find them.
